The hotel was very clean, comfortable, modern and centrally located (next the the Grosvenor Mall to the walk to the main shopping street of Chester). We would definitely recommend the hotel for a stay in Chester. The train station was only 10 minutes away by taxi. We walked everywhere in Chester. Our bedroom was upgraded to a larger room with a double bed and single bed, and a large bathroom with a bath. It was perfect! The restaurant served a delicious breakfast which was included in our stay. The hotel had complimentary water with fruits in the reception area. Reception staff were very accommodating, booking taxis and storing our luggage until check in. We enjoyed the air-conditioning in our rooms, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were quiet. (not much view outside)

Ideal location, right in the middle of Chester and easy to get to from the station. Staff were polite and helpful and checking in was easy enough. Card scanners on the lifts give added security to guests. Rooms are cleaned regularly and well, and there is a decent sized TV with the option to connect with your phone and stream films etc. Took me a while to get the hang of that but got there eventually! Point to note - this is a former Premier Inn and the rooms therefore are of that type.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. Proximity to great restaurants was brilliant. Despite being in the city center our room was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. All the staff we met were very friendly.

Always stay at the Leonardo when in Chester. We feel it’s great value for money. Great location, right in the centre and easy parking available in the shopping centre. Room has everything we need - mini fridge, tv, hairdryer and ironing facilities. Plenty of plug sockets. Rooms are pretty clean. Always a quick check in and easy check-out.

The hotel is centrally located and was therefore ideal for our short pre Xmas stay. It was clean, tidy and proved to be very comfortable. Parking was available in two multi storey car parks both of which were very close at hand. The parking costs were'nt overly expensive. Reception staff were helpful and courteous as were other staff in the dining areas. We didn't dine within the hotel other than at breakfast time but the the menus looked ok and I'm sure that had we wanted to eat in, the food would have been ok too. The room we had was spacious, clean, nicely furnished,had more than enough storage space for our short visit and the bed was comfortable. Complimentary teas, coffees etc were provided. The bathroom had a nice bath and combined shower. We didn't have a bath but the shower was good, powerful and easy to operate. Basically, all that you want. Heating was easily controlled and although the room overlooked a main road, it wasn't noisy at all. We both enjoyed the breakfast on offer. The selection of food was more than adequate and there was an option, via achef on hand, to order variations (scrambled or poached eggs for example) if required. Breakfast was taken in the dining area and whilst we were early diners, I think that it might have been a bit crowded in the rather small food selection area if a lot of people chose to dine at the same time. In fairness, the hotel posted indications of the likely busy dining times so really it was up to people to bear that in mind IMO. All in all though, no complaints from us.
